About Me

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with a heart for the lost and hurting. In my years of practice, I have focused on helping adolescents and their families navigate the challenges of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Panic Disorder, family stress, overwhelming academic pressures, low self-esteem, racial, sexuality, and gender issues (LGBTQ+). I am here to help people of all ages take charge of their mental health symptoms, navigate the challenges of life such as relationships, marriage, divorce, career changes, and season of life changes from youth to adult, single to married, parenthood, and empty nest. I help people find their way back to happy, guide them in healing their broken hearts and above all honor who my clients are and the abilities they have to live the lives they desire.

My Background

I have several years of experience as a practicing therapist in community mental health, schools, residential facilities, and private practice. I have treated people from 5 to 75 years old with various diagnoses in individual, family, and group counseling sessions. I believe I was called to do this work and I consider it a privilege to come along side my clients in their pursuit of emotional well-being.  Prior to following my passion to become a Marriage and Family Therapist, I worked in Human Resources for large corporations helping people successfully navigate their careers and achieve work life balance. I have spent countless hours volunteering in church, Girl Scouts, and school booster clubs in support of both of my daughter’s interests and those of their peers.
